18" X 26" Pond Sojourners was painted on location at a very special pond in the Santa Clara Valley. Pat relates that she was particularly attracted to the gracefulness of the koi but most of all to the patterns and reflections seen on the surface of the water. The artist invites you to view the serene majesty of a summer pond. Its inhabitants can be seen gliding through pristine rippled water filled with ever-changing shadows and shimmering lily pads.
